Professor Kevin Briancesco named the Cheer Choice Award’s 2025 Educator of the Year

LAVC Professor of Communication Studies Kevin Briancesco won the Educator of the Year award at the 2025 Cheer Choice Award. Kevin was singled out for his outstanding work as social media content creator in @thespeechprof on Instagram and @speechprof on TikTok.

The Education Award honors influencers who are teachers in their field, who educate and inform their audience on various subjects, ranging from academics to life skills, using their platform to foster learning, growth, and positive change.

The annual Cheer Choice Awards, hosted by the nonprofit Spread the Cheer USA, honors positive creators on social media, who are making an impact utilizing their platforms.
